We had such a good time riding the Segways. We have told everyone we meet. I would love to have one just to run around town on. None of my kids could believe that I was brave enough to ride one. It puts a whole new meaning to “Grandma”
We've been on the regular tour two years in a row. I'd like to be able to short cut next year by not doing the beginning video and training. I don't think I would use one all day but I would love to rent by the hour or two hour increment like bike rentals are done.
How about a 2 hour rental for some where around $50 or so. Daily rentals will be around $100 and weekly rentals around $475. The numbers are all tentative at this point, as I must go over the books first. I will need to cover my tour numbers, obviously.
The video may not be necessary with this option. Training will be a little different for just rentals though. We will go over getting on and off the Segway more extensively and other points will be covered like the security feature and the parking the machine. This should not be longer then 10- 15 minutes.

Great Idea. Sea Isle could become a Segway Friendly City. Merchants could provide Segway parking spots as well. Great for eco tourism.
